Store your delicious fettuccine pasta in a cool, dry place to maintain its perfect al dente texture. Properly stored, this versatile pasta will be ready to transform into countless culinary creations.
Storage Time
Up to 2 years in pantry, 1-2 months once cooked and refrigerated, up to 3 months frozen
Temperature
Store dry fettuccine in a cool, dark pantry between 15-21°C (59-70°F). Cooked fettuccine should be refrigerated at 0-4°C (32-40°F).
Freezing
Cooked fettuccine pasta can be frozen for longer storage. Allow cooked pasta to cool completely, then portion it into airtight containers or freezer bags, separating strands with parchment paper if desired to prevent clumping. To thaw, place in the refrigerator overnight or reheat directly from frozen in a sauce or with a little water. Freezing may slightly alter the texture, making it a bit softer upon reheating.
Signs of Spoilage
- Visible mold growth on dry pasta.
- Off-putting, musty, or rancid smell from dry pasta.
- Cooked pasta develops a slimy texture or sour odor.
