Storage Time
Fresh, raw sirloin steak can be safely stored in the refrigerator for 3 to 5 days. For extended preservation, it can be frozen for an impressive 6 to 12 months while maintaining excellent eating quality.
Temperature
Always keep raw sirloin steak refrigerated at a consistent temperature of 0–4°C (32–40°F). Storing it on the lowest shelf of your fridge can help prevent any potential drips from contaminating other foods.
Freezing
To freeze sirloin steak effectively, pat each steak dry with paper towels to remove surface moisture. Individually wrap each piece tightly in plastic wrap, followed by a layer of heavy-duty aluminum foil, or place them in a vacuum-sealable bag to prevent freezer burn.
