Enjoy the vibrant, fresh taste of homemade fruit juice by storing it properly. Preserving the natural sweetness and nutrients of your freshly squeezed or blended fruit beverages is key to minimizing food waste and maximizing enjoyment.
Storage Time
3–5 days in the refrigerator, up to 6–12 months when frozen.
Temperature
Store in the refrigerator at or below 4°C (40°F).
Freezing
Homemade fruit juice freezes beautifully! Pour the juice into freezer-safe containers, leaving about an inch of headspace for expansion. Alternatively, freeze in ice cube trays for convenient single-serving portions. Thaw slowly in the refrigerator overnight for the best quality. Frozen juice may separate slightly upon thawing; simply shake or stir well before serving. Avoid refreezing thawed juice.

- Cloudy appearance or visible sediment that wasn't present initially.
- Off-putting or fermented smell, often described as sour or alcoholic.
- Fizzy or bubbly texture, indicating active fermentation.
- Mold growth on the surface or along the edges of the container.
