Enjoy your refreshing iced coffee for longer by storing it properly! This guide ensures your chilled coffee beverage maintains its delicious flavor and safety, preventing waste and maximizing enjoyment.
Storage Time
3–4 days in the refrigerator, up to 1 month if properly frozen.
Temperature
Keep refrigerated at or below 4°C (40°F).
Freezing
Iced coffee can be frozen for longer storage, though some texture changes may occur upon thawing. For best results, freeze in airtight containers or ice cube trays, leaving some headspace for expansion. To thaw, place the container in the refrigerator overnight. Avoid refreezing thawed iced coffee. Freezing can slightly alter the texture, making it a bit more watery, but the flavor generally remains good.
Signs of Spoilage
- Sour or fermented smell.
- Visible mold growth on the surface.
- Off-flavor or unusual taste when sampled.
