Freezing
While technically possible, freezing stir-fried bean sprouts is generally not recommended due to their high water content, which leads to a very mushy, watery texture upon thawing. If you must freeze them, ensure the stir-fry is completely cooled, then transfer it to an airtight freezer-safe container or heavy-duty freezer bag, pressing out as much air as possible. They may last up to 1 month, but expect a significant loss in crispness and overall quality. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator and reheat gently, perhaps incorporating them into another dish where texture is less critical, like a soup or stew.
Signs of Spoilage
